Why Let Perfect Get in the Way of Good?

It may sound counterproductive not to search for perfection but that is the more efficient approach. To ensure that work gets out the door in a timely fashion is what is productive.

It is the central drive that should push us through our days, as at the end of the day we are beholden to our achievements, our deadlines and our projects, yet continually we get sidetracked by this concept of needing to achieve perfection.

The Next Facebook

A sentence that I continue to hear and have quoted to me is that we need to wait until we have the next Facebook. Ridiculous.

Facebook was successful as it was the first of its kind...Lightning in a bottle...Now it is obsolete and propped up by other aspects of its sister company, Meta.

To attempt to create the new Facebook in this example is then ridiculous. Netflix is another example of strength at its height and now, slowly, over the years it has been trimmed back to the point in which it is being forced to release big shows in two parts.

Being forced to split your content to keep subscribers is desperation and something that does not endear people to your cause. It is certainly something that I am pondering at the moment. The need for Netflix and…
