One person’s string will be another person’s ancient tie to a family they never knew. One person’s old tapestry is another priceless heirloom that once surrounded Jesus’ temple.
We all perceive things differently. Some personify their pets, and give them voices and personalities, whilst others consider them a giant waste of time and money. This is how the operates.
We all see what we want to see and value what we choose to value when what we should be focusing on is what we have and holding close to those parts of our lives that make us smile.
The two do go hand in hand, I will admit that a teddy bear purchased by my wife is more valuable than one pulled from the shelf. They could ultimately be the same bear but the way and means in which they are attained define the value.
A Lost Gem
One of the main reasons for this entry is that my wife lost the gem from her engagement ring. It fell out on the way to work and we therefore now have a decision to make.
