What Genre is Your Story?
When your life story is written, what genre will you want to associate it with?
Will it be a romance, a thriller or a crime drama?
As we are mostly masters of our destiny, we understand that we can take steps to be the person we want to be but it is not always easy, or possible.
Unfortunately, here I do need to acknowledge the horrible actions that take place across the world every day, in particular in the Ukraine and most recently, the Gaza Strip, where predominantly it is citizens that suffer.
Where ordinary citizens are forced to live in fear with their lives contained within a very narrow strip of land, with little hope of freedom.
To then be taken to war by those around you and those who say that they are looking to defend their territory is simply horrible. To see that suffering is heartbreaking and no one should be forced to go through that.
It’s not right to have your life shifted to being a tragedy without you ever taking one independent action. Where independent thought is thrown upon and the need to blend in for survival is paramount. It is horrible to think of given the freedoms that I take for granted.
